Donna the Buffalo, Steve Earle, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, The Family Stone and John Brown’s Body are but a few of the almost 100 soloists, groups, and bands set to perform at this year’s 25th Annual GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance here in Trumansburg, New York. So, if you are thinking of attending, now’s the time to book your room at Halsey House.
We’re right across the road from the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance, so there’s no need to pay for parking. Once you arrive at Halsey House, you don’t have to move your car again until the festival is over.
Get up each morning and be treated to a bombastic breakfast by the Davids, which we are constantly told are more like “brunch,” and then walk on over to the Fair Grounds and enjoy the music of the GrassRoots Festival which is ongoing, non-stop through the day and into the night.
We have three of our guestrooms still available, so visit our website availability calendar at www.halseyhouse.com to check out photographs of the rooms and rates. Then, you may book with us directly on line.
There is a four-night minimum required; pick any of the four out of five nights from July 15th through July 19th and book while we still have availability.
This is a rare opportunity because our rooms have been taken by the same festival goers for some years who have decided to “take a year off.” And this has made them available for you . . .
Each room is air conditioned and has either a queen or king-sized bed with pillow-top mattress, and large, high-definition flat-screen TVs with DVD players. And each room has a private bath with full amenities.
There is no better proximity to the festival activities and concerts unless you were to bring a tent and camp out on the Fair Grounds. When it comes to visiting Trumansburg, and attending GrassRoots Festival of Music and Dance, it doesn’t get any better than a stay with us at Halsey House.
